Village Services & Utilities

Garbage must be bagged and stored in containers with the lids securely fastened and placed at the street side by 8:00 a.m. on the morning of pick-up.

Grass clippings and leaves are no longer being disposed of in the landfill pit and; therefore, are not being collected along with regular household garbage.

Only regular household garbage will be picked up by the garbage pick-up service; this does not include buidling materials, fish filleting remains, large cardboard boxes, grass clippings, leaves, brush, etc

Open - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Closed 12:00 to 12:30 for lunch

Landfill Winter Hours: Starting October 15th, 2019 - May 11th, 2020
Open - Tuesday & Saturday
8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Closed 12:00 to 12:30 for lunch

**** Cabin / Building Demolition - As per loads and fee schedule - in compliance with Bylaw 17-2011 - Building Demolition Bylaw

**** Compost (grass, leaves, garden material, branches) No Charge

PREPARING FOR SPRING. It’s been a long winter with lots of snow. We are asking everyone to pitch in and be as Pro-Active as possible to help us get through the expected Spring melt. Once the snow starts melting or crew will be very busy. So to help prepare we ask you to:
- Clear as much snow away from your homes as possible
- Clear out culverts and drainage ditches by your home
- If you have neighbours that are seasonal, check on their yards to see if problems may arise.
