New to Candle Lake?  Looking for something to do? Looking for that feeling of belonging? Of being useful? Let us tell you about the Candle Lake Seniors.

In 1981 an umbrella Seniors group was formed in Saskatchewan know as the SSAI.  In May of 1981 The Candle Lake Seniors chapter was formed and incorporated in October 1981.  We are a social club involved in the community in many ways.

WHO ARE WE:  Residents of Candle Lake and property owners aged 50 + from a wide variety of life experiences, families and backgrounds.

WHAT WE DO: Meet for monthly potluck suppers on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, pancake breakfasts the following Sunday and socials.  We meet for fundraisers, help with community projects.  We meet for quarterly business meetings after the potluck supper.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:
1. Quilting - Tuesday and Thursday
2. Card Making - Monday
3. Art Club - Wednesday
4.  Library - Open to the public on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 - 4
5. Yoga - See Newsletter for dates and times

FACILITIES: Clean and bright club room on the 2nd floor of the Candle Lake Community Hall.  Accessable by stairs and elevator chair.  Full kitchen facilities, dart board, bar, piano, sound system and TV.

WHO CAN JOIN:  You can at anytime.  Just bring your sense of humor, appetite and your usual engaging personality.  Couples and Singles.  Membership $10.00 annually.
